What clients actually get
Mentions in posts their buyers read: roundups, alternatives pages, comparisons and how-to guides in their category. These are editorial links, so they're defensible in any client report, and every won link is re-checked weekly. If a publisher removes a link or switches it to nofollow, you get an email and can follow up before the client notices (here is why backlink monitoring matters for client retention). How agencies usually set it up
- Add the client site. We read the site and draft a profile: category, competitors, audiences. Fix anything that's off.
- Add the client's do-not-contact list. Partners, existing relationships, sites the client dislikes. Pitches never go to them.
- Import targets the client already wants. Paste post URLs and the agent drafts pitches for those first. A competitor backlink analysis is a good source of these.
- Review the first batch together. Agree on tone with the client, then approve in batches or switch on autopilot.
- Report on links won. The Links page shows each placement, its DR and whether it's still live. Agencies on Growth and Agency can also pull this into Claude or ChatGPT through the MCP server.

What we won't do for any client
Offer payment for links, send to arbitrary addresses, put links to unrelated domains in pitches, or take sites in restricted categories. Every pitch passes a quality check before it can send. It protects your clients, your mailboxes and our sending reputation. See the acceptable use policy.
Questions people ask
Can I run link building for multiple clients in one account?
Yes. Each client is a separate site in your account with its own profile, prospects, pitches and replies. Growth covers up to 3 sites and Agency up to 8, each site with its own managed mailbox.
Do clients share a sending domain?
No. Each mailbox sits on its own domain, so one client's outreach never affects another client's deliverability, and pitches go out under a name that fits that client.
Can I approve pitches before they go out?
Yes. Every pitch waits in a review queue by default. You can edit any of them; edited pitches pass the same quality check before they can send. Autopilot is available on Growth and Agency once a site is approved.
Is this white-label?
Pitches are sent under the sender name you set for each client site, from a domain that isn't BacklinkGenie's, so publishers don't see our brand. The dashboard itself isn't rebranded for client logins.
Which client sites won't you take?
Gambling, adult, CBD and vapes, weapons, payday lending, crypto schemes, pharma and link sellers, among others. Health, finance and legal sites go through a manual review first. The full list is on our acceptable use page.
