Run link building from your AI assistant
AI agent link building means your assistant does the outreach busywork through BacklinkGenie: it finds posts where your product belongs, drafts a pitch for each one, reads editor replies and drafts answers. You approve what goes out.

We launched CSV export today. Find roundups that list our competitors and draft pitches that mention it.
Started a run for margin.app. It drafts as it goes; I'll check back.
What did it find?
6 new pitches, DR 58 to 92. The strongest is zapier.com: "The best note-taking apps" has a section on export options. Want to read it?

How the work is split
| BacklinkGenie does on its own | Your assistant helps you with |
|---|---|
| Searching for posts in your niche and checking fit | Deciding which pitches go out |
| Finding and verifying the right contact | Tweaking a pitch with context from your docs |
| Sending inside each mailbox's daily limit, with follow-ups | Answering editors who replied |
| Checking won links every week | Giving it posts you found yourself |
Start by connecting one assistant from the integrations list. Most people begin with Claude or ChatGPT because it's a URL and a sign-in. If you'd rather approve pitches in the dashboard, that works the same way; see how it works. The MCP server reference lists every tool your assistant can call, and our guide to AI link building covers where agents help and where a human should still decide.
Questions people ask
What is AI agent link building?
It means an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor runs the day-to-day work of link outreach for you: finding posts where your product fits, drafting pitches, reading replies and drafting answers. BacklinkGenie provides the outreach engine and the MCP tools; the assistant is how you talk to it.
Is it safe to let an assistant do outreach?
Only with guardrails. In BacklinkGenie every send needs an explicit approval, recipients are locked to the contact found for each site, and anything the assistant writes is checked for links to other sites, paid-link offers and spammy phrasing before it can be saved or sent.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. In Claude or ChatGPT you paste one URL and sign in. Developers can also use Cursor, Claude Code or n8n with an API key.
Will the assistant need to stay open?
No. Searching, contact lookup, sending, follow-ups and link checks run inside BacklinkGenie on their own schedule. The assistant is for reviewing, deciding and asking questions.
Which plan do I need?
