1. The service
BacklinkGenie is an AI outreach service that finds web pages relevant to your website, identifies contacts, drafts outreach emails, sends approved emails from a mailbox we operate for you, handles follow-ups, drafts replies and verifies placements. We may improve, change or discontinue features over time.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- You must provide a real, non-disposable email address and accurate information about the sites you promote.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
- You may only promote websites you own or are authorised to represent.
3. Restricted categories
We do not provide the service to sites in these categories, and every site is reviewed at signup and periodically afterwards:
- Gambling, casinos, betting or sweepstakes
- Adult or sexual content
- CBD, cannabis, vapes, tobacco or kratom
- Weapons, ammunition or explosives
- Crypto trading signals, ICOs, MLM or get-rich schemes
- Payday loans, debt relief or credit repair
- Online pharmacy, unapproved supplements or weight-loss pills
- Essay mills, fake reviews, follower selling or link selling
- Hacking tools, account selling or piracy
- Hate, extremism or misinformation
Sites in some regulated areas (for example health, finance, legal and political content) may require manual review before outreach begins. See the Acceptable Use Policy for the full rules, which form part of these terms.
4. Outreach content and your responsibilities
- Emails are drafted by AI from your profile and instructions. You are responsible for the emails you approve, edit, write, or allow autopilot to send.
- Edited emails and replies you write must pass our automated quality checks before they are sent. We may block any email that fails them.
- You must not use the service to offer payment for links, run link schemes, send misleading or deceptive content, impersonate anyone, or contact people who have opted out.
- You are the controller of prospect personal data processed for you and are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact prospects.
- We cannot guarantee that any site owner will reply, link to you or keep a link live, or any particular ranking or traffic outcome.
5. Sending infrastructure and limits
- Paid plans include a dedicated sending domain for each managed mailbox, configured and operated by us.
- New mailboxes ramp up gradually, starting at a few emails a day and increasing over about a month. Daily sending limits, rate limits and quality thresholds apply to protect deliverability, and may be adjusted at our discretion.
- We may automatically pause sending from a mailbox when bounce, complaint or negative-reply rates exceed safe thresholds.
- You must not attempt to access the mailbox directly to send email outside the service.
6. Your sending domain
The sending domain we register for you is registered in our registrar account for operational reasons, and we pay its registration and hosting costs while your subscription is active. The domain is yours to keep: on request, we will transfer it to a registrar account of your choosing, free of charge, whether or not you are still subscribed. If you cancel, the mailbox keeps receiving replies until the end of the period you paid for, and we will email you before the domain lapses.
Exception: if a domain was used in violation of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, we may retire it instead of transferring it.
7. Our right to refuse, pause or terminate
We may refuse service, pause sending, disable features (such as editing), or suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, your site falls in a restricted category, your activity harms the deliverability or reputation of our infrastructure or other customers, or we are required to by law. Where termination is not due to your violation, we will refund any prepaid amount for the unused period.
8. Plans and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which may also collect applicable taxes.
- Each plan includes a monthly allowance of outreach emails. Each pitch and each follow-up counts as one email. Unused emails do not roll over and have no cash value.
- The free plan includes a prospect report. Pitches are written and sent only on a paid plan.
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Upgrades take effect immediately.
- Except where required by law or stated otherwise in writing, fees are non-refundable. Domain registration fees are never refundable, but the domain remains yours as described above.
9. Your data
You own your site profile, configurations and the outreach content you create or approve. You grant us a limited licence to use it solely to provide and improve the service. Your prospect list, threads and send history are available for export at any time. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual property
The service, including its software, design, documentation and brand, is owned by BacklinkGenie and protected by law. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing service from it, or access it by automated means other than our documented API and MCP server.
11. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties including Cloudflare, Anthropic, Dodo Payments, Google, Mailpool, treg, Ahrefs and domain registrars such as Porkbun. Their availability is outside our control, and their own terms may apply.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AI-generated content can contain errors; review drafts before approving them.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BacklinkGenie will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, rankings, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold BacklinkGenie harmless from claims arising from the sites you promote, the content you approve or write, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
