Get a weekly link report from Claude
Most link building reports are a spreadsheet someone updates on Friday afternoon. The numbers already live in BacklinkGenie.
Ask your assistant for them in a sentence, compare weeks, or have a workflow post them to Slack every Monday. Agencies can do it per client site.
The prompt
Paste this into Claude and change the details to fit.
Give me this week's BacklinkGenie numbers for each of my sites: pitches sent, replies, reply rate and links won. Mention anything unusual.

Give me this week's BacklinkGenie numbers for each of my sites: pitches sent, replies, reply rate and links won. Mention anything unusual.
This week across 2 sites: 186 pitches sent, 24 replies (12.9%), 5 links won. margin.app did most of it (142 sent, 4 links). One thing stands out: reply rate on the second site dropped to 6%; its pitches go to older posts.
Tips
- Ask for comparisons: "versus last week" or "versus last month".
- For clients who prefer a document, ask your assistant to turn the numbers into a short summary you can paste into an email.

Same rules as the dashboard
Claude works on the same account, sites and mailboxes as the BacklinkGenie dashboard. Pitches wait for approval unless you've turned on Autopilot, every edit goes through the quality check, and sending stays inside each mailbox's daily limit. See how BacklinkGenie works or compare plans.
Questions people ask
Can I share these numbers with a client?
Yes. Ask your assistant to format them as a table or a short summary you can paste into an email or a doc. The dashboard shows the same pitches, replies and links won for each site.
Do questions like these use up anything?
No. Reading numbers, drafts, replies and links is included. Only pitches and follow-ups count toward your monthly emails.
Do I need an API key to use BacklinkGenie from Claude?
No. In Claude you add BacklinkGenie with its URL and sign in. MCP access is on the Growth and Agency plans.
