What you actually pay for one site
MentionAgent's entry plan is $99/month for one inbox, with each inbox capped at 40 cold emails a day. BacklinkGenie's Starter is also $99/month for one site and one managed mailbox, with a free prospect report before you pay anything. The gap opens at eight mailboxes: $629/month on MentionAgent, $499 on our Agency plan.
Pitchbox and BuzzStream look comparable on features but aren't comparable on cost once you add the pieces they leave out: a separate sending domain, a Google Workspace seat, a warmup routine and your own time writing pitches.
Control over who gets pitched
With an agent, the biggest risk is pitching a site you'd never want to be associated with, or a competitor's friend. Is there a cheaper alternative to MentionAgent?

Do I lose deliverability protection if I switch?
Not with BacklinkGenie: pitches still go from a separate domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured, so your main domain is never used for cold outreach. With BuzzStream or Pitchbox you'd set that up yourself.
Can I use my own list of target posts?
